Anything to keep from having to do some real work. But then I remember sessions was a senator for 30+ years.
This doesn’t make sense. He’s the Attorney General. Why would he give up his job so someone from the Obama Administration could handle things?
And that is why Alfred E Sessions is not working behind the scenes
on some master 10D plan. He is risk adverse.
A lot of people here don’t seem to get that.
So that makes Sessions AWOL on the biggest scandals in American
History. He sits on the side lines by his own choice of recusal.
FUJS. Backstabbing sob.
I am willing to “trust the plan” up to a point....but now the leftist are laughing in our face now
by these shallow convictions and letting Awan walk away Scott free!
1. I think Trump and Session purposely put Rosenstein in the position he’s in because he was deep into everything Obama, Hillary, et al were involved in over the eight years Obama was President. I think they are letting Rosenstein sink or swim and get yourself out of this if you can.
So, in essence, you’re saying that Rosenstein is a conspirator in a criminal enterprise and that Trump and Sessions are giving Rosenstein a chance to extricate himself from having to face charges for his crimes.
Is this what you’re saying?
Kind of. More like hanging him out there twirling in wind. I think Trump and Sessions know Rosenstein is up to his eyeballs in carrying out and covering up for Obama and Hillary et al and their letting him dig a deeper hole for himself. I hope, if this is true, Rosenstein is prosecuted and spends time in jail.
I don't get that either. Why did they even bother to arrest him in the first place? I think some deep staters were caught off guard by the arrest and don't want that rock turned over.
Rosenstein better get his at some point. The ONLY reason I can see leaving him in his already conflicted position is that the damage he can do as Asst AG is less value than the value of uncovering more of the conspiracy by leaving him in place.
I think we often give too much credit and thought to long strategic, clever political games being executed. I’ve made this mistake in business negotiations before. I assumed my negoting opposition was smarter and more cunning than they actually were. I wasted a lot of time and effort being too smart by half.
I would like to believe, and still hope, that Trump and SESSIONS are so brilliant, that this WHOLE, drawn out, clowny bloodbath has been played so Sessions can work quietly behind the scenes to definitively, and in one fell swoop, “Drain the Swamp” (Indictments included). But the clock is running out. Statute of Limitations will be in play in the not-to-distant future.
Of course, then there is the election. The mid-terms coming up. And Trump’s re-election in 2020. The idea that they have gambled from the beginning on 1) maintaining control of the House and Senate &/or 2) Trump getting re-elected, as part of the brilliant long-game investigation and swamp draining strategy becomes ludicrously dangerous and risky.
I hope, but won’t hold my breath and in fact heavily doubt there is a fabulous ruse afoot.
The man that you once trusted and admired IS not who you thought he was.
Nor is he half the man that candidate Donald J. Trump placed his faith in as AG.
Jeff is ... Just another Gigolo.
Bought and sold like every other cheap piece of azz in Washington DC.
He is a spineless deep state weasel in the form of Judas who has betrayed the president and the American people.
He is a failure and obstructionist as AG and unable to fulfill but a fraction of his responsibilities.
His persona is that of a deceitful smirking leprechaun, not the helpful elf.
Wash your hands of him ... like an ex that has repeatedly wronged you.
GO SESSIONS! KICK THE DEEP STATE’S ASS!
Is that all the little man on the wedding cake does? Make speeches?
Even Tucker Carlson has written this guy off.
Inaction speaks louder than words. Or something like that.
Seriously... How long does a sole bastard plan to stay around screw this country. this is the biggest mistake of Trump’s Administration by far.
We were wondering where u were.
I remain conflicted regarding Jeff Sessions.
How can Sessions withstand the continuous criticism from his boss?
How can Sessions attend a Cabinet meeting knowing that his Cabinet peers are fully aware that ‘their’ boss wants him to get off his butt, as well as, maybe talking about him negatively behind his back?
How can Sessions continue being brow beaten when he obviously has the financial wherewithal to retire from politics and go fishing?
Under the above circumstances would any of us stay on the job and continue to receive this level of punishment?
Perhaps a reason Session stays on the job is that there is an unwritten agreement between Trump and Sessions to play this political game to keep the Democrats, the Deep State, and the Media off balance as these Anti-Trumpers collectively dig their corruption hole even deeper.
Yeah, Sessions is a politician, who is good at reading a speech prepared for him. Unfortunately, he’s a part of the problem, not a part of the solution. He’s just another cog in the transnationalists swamp in DC. It’s unfortunate that republican congresscritters can’t get behind Trump enough for him to fire the worthless dweeb.
I think you are taking a wrong conclusion from this. I've come to the conclusion that Sessions takes a very pecksniffian pride in saying "we don't prosecute our political opposition in this country." And, so, he won't do it.
This is a false pride. It reveals Sessions as a small and stupid man. By taking this holier-than-thou approach to 'political' prosecutions, he gives unfettered license to the kind of monstrous crimes Clinton and her minions have committed. And what lesson do the Clintonoids take from this approach? To make sure there are no survivors to correct Sessions' error when they get back into power.
Sessions, whom I once admired, is a fool and there is precious little time to fix his folly before the country is plunged into a disaster.
Sessions bosses at the DOJ sent him out to speech at people
