Possible. Although I doubt terrorists would call in a bomb threat. They would just detonate. If they found a suspicious package, they would say as such.

We took AMTRAK to Chicago from Michigan. AMTRAK says they will check your bags, purses for security reasons.
At Union Station, in Grand Mall, we were told to line up by a security official. We then marched through the halls down to our train. Only one security official at the head of the line for our march. One cop and dog walked by us. That was it. No one’s personal items, carry on luggage was searched. We didn’t go through metal detectors.
Sitting ducks for anyone on a train and terrorist who wants to blow them up.
