I mean — admit it — whenever it’s close, and the Republican is leading, isn’t there, these days, always this sense of waiting for the inevitable?
“Oh, look! A bunch of uncounted ballots, and — lo, and behold — 93% of them are votes for the Democrat! Oh, and will ya look at that: it’s JUST enough to edge the Republican out of the lead! It’s a miracle! Who’d have ever thought it could happen?”
