I wouldn’t mind them keeping their security clearance due to the “intelligence” community accuracy and successful analysis about the fall of the Soviet Union... uhh, err, the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq... wait, it was 9/11 they got straight.

Just for starters...
Once these people leave government they should be stripped of security clearance;a move that will aid in draining the swamp. These security clearances are all about earnings after they leave the government.

The bastard (Brennan) couldn’t keep his mouth shut so lost his clearance. Anyone NOT currently employed and not having the “need to know” doesn’t should NOT have access to secret information. Once having a “top secret” clearance myself while serving in the U.S. Navy, we had a saying, “Loose lips sink ships”. (Tells you all you need to know)
I think anyone who has left service/government, and no longer need a security clearance, it should be revoked! Period. Why do all these deep state O drama employees have a security clearance, after he was no longer President? I find that a national security issue!

I am former USNR, and yes, it was not only ‘loose lips sink ships’, but classified information was on a ‘need to know’ basis, and those who did not need to know, including security clearances were not briefed.
I had a secret security clearance, and everyone had to sign for info, and sign... when it was returned. I would not come in contact with top secret info was the reason, and clearances were monitored as to type and seriousness of the content... Thing have become too lax!
Your access to classified info was common sense at that time...what happened?

Some. They hate Trump, and they don't care that the nationalysecurity apparatus was used against a political opponent. But there are probably others who are just clueless. They believe Brennan's lies about Trump "collusion" or have doubts about it. So they hop on board.
The important point is while they still have their clearance, they normally have no access to any relevant classified information. They will not know, for example, about the redacted info in the FISA warrant. Even if they are acrtively using their clearance on a program, they will only be reading classified stuff relevant to that program.
Either way, whether deep staters who know the real deal, or just idiots, it's impossible for us to know the difference, They all need to be stripped.
