I have a recommendation for Chris Matthews and for his crowd. Win an Election. You lost and I for one, am quite happy with the result. The rest of our winners have a similar attitude, I suspect.
Well Chris, aging drunks often don’t meet such happy ends either.

I don’t think Chrissy thinks of Stalin, Castro, and Kim il Sung as tyrants.
And the liberals who say Trump is Hitler are full of it; they cannot give any examples of Trump actions which correspond to the brutality of Hitler and Nazis. They parrot back one liners such as “Trump is Hitler” with no understanding of what the heck they are talking about.
Actually Trump did kill Hillary’s chances of becoming POTUS for ever.
Hillary, Pelosi, Schumer, Rice, Jarrett, Brennan, Clapper, Mueller, Kerry, ... are not dead. We are still waiting for the rest of his national socialist party’s national press corpse to kick their buckets.
Seems his theory is, well, dead wrong.
Some demagogues died violently.
Hideously is another matter. YMMV on cases.
Not all of them though.
Plenty died of old age.
And most dictators were not demagogues.
