A more than 8-feet-tall Baphomet statue was unveiled.
Following the installation of the Ten Commandments monument, the Satanic Temple filed a lawsuit to have its statue placed on the same grounds in the name of religious pluralism and the First Amendment. During the 2017 legislative session, the Satanic Temple sent a letter to Arkansas legislators asking for lawmakers to sponsor a bill that would allow a Baphomet statue on Capitol grounds, but not one lawmaker responded.

Not legally, presuming it's some else's property.
Quite appropriate that the Satanic Baphomet and socialism should be rubbing elbows.
As long as one can see the extended thumb, there is no problem telling the difference.
Thanks for showing that.
Like my trip to Texas a few years ago, I took a trip to Arkansas just a few weeks ago and spent the week there.
A lot of you Arkansans might be shocked, as the Texans surely are, that your state is turning into a state from the Northeast.
Full of commies, libs and wussies. I know you don’t like to hear it because you think that your state is somethine quite opposite - and at one point it may have been - but now you gotta take it from an outsider with fresh eyes - one who understands how the Northeast died.
You’re in trouble.
I say all the time that Texas is blue where it counts (Like my state PA is also blue where it counts.. Philly, Pitt and Harrisburg) and that those infected areas are enough to cause the whole thing to collapse.
NWA is a really neat place. It’s full of wealth. It’s like the south-west Connecticut towns in Fairfield County. Full of opportunity that may be sorta new to this state. But that luxury and cleanliness is found at the feet of the common liberal transplant.
No problem.
I suspect that, on this topic, you are seriously off-base. Little Rock and Pine Bluff are quite liberal. NW Arkansas not so much.
Do you have any clue what is up with this man’s eyes? His right eye is a slit, and his left eye seems unfocused. Something’s severely wrong with this guy, in many ways. And this is the best the Democrats have for Vermont.
Just offering my observations. Also you are reacting just like a Texan who has been told the same thing.
I’m an outside eye who knows the tell-tale signs. NWA is full of liberals. If you live there or near there you may be too deep to notice it. But I came into town, saw all of the signs around town forbidding guns, the incognito Californians and I know what comes next.
NWA is Connecticut just before Malloy was elected. Watch it. It’s actually why I’m not moving there. The place is taking the same line that the New England states took.
Why no explanation of the significance of that hand gesture?
I can confuse it any time I want, when an object or gesture is hijacked by utterly despicable groups. The ambiguity, intended or not, needs to be eliminated.
All I know is that, that abomination needs to be removed, Supreme Court or not!
Sign me up.
I thought it meant “Hook ‘em, ‘Horns!”
But before that day happens there will be hell to pay for this country. Be afraid.
Did anyone worship the statue?
I’ve got some Life Scouts who could use an Eagle Project.
Maybe they can combine that project with a spirit mission, and Chemistry Merit Badge.
Mix a bunch of thermite and go to town on this thing.
An F-350 and length of chain could fix the issue.
Well, that third sign is awkward
And the one in the middle is Hook 'em Horns!!!
Cardinal Copia seems pleased with this development.
Bill Clinton has a statue?
Does that mean Ba-—— is catholic?
(kidding, but that is just awful.)
