The Minnesota lawmaker and Deputy Chair of the Democrat National Convention was accused by Karen Monahan of being physically abusive during their relationship. Karen’s son, Austin Monahan, backs up her claim.
Now a second woman has courageously stepped forward, and she’s got the 911 report that gives her horrifying story some serious weight. Laura Loomer published the official report to her website.

Why don’t the GOPers in Minnesota use this to tar and feather Amy Klobuchar and Tim Walz? Seems to me that if these two ‘Rats (incumbent Senator running for re-election and candidate for governor) don’t demand that Ellison get off the ticket, then they can validly be associated with supporting concubine beatings.

And it may not be all senseless. In fact, of the not-senseless sort we’ve not got enough of it thanks to Republicans who think that once they’re in office their job is to get along with and accommodate the wants the DNC rather than totally defeat them.

I remember seeing footage of the shameful send off that they gave him. Not as crass as them jamming to Mambo #5 (”a little bit of Monica” was sung with particular gusto it seemed) at Gore’s shindig, but pretty high on the tacky scale.
