“background check to verify diplomas”
Indians fail at that. Their universities are diploma mills. I am not sure they are even required to attend.
I’ve seen far too many bachelor’s credentialed Indians not have the slightest education in the mater’s programs. They were taught a language like Java so they could come to America, but they have zero knowledge of computer science. None.
They are used to plagiarizing in India. I listened as one Indian proclaimed, “But I didn’t just take it from the Internet, I had to change it to my name, so it is my work.”
Another Indian demanded that the exam questions be provided before the exam because, “That’s how we do it in India!” He was pissed that he failed the exam and blamed it on “Stupid F****ing Americans!”
That is how stupid they are.
I don’t think Indian universities should be accepted in the US. In fact, some of them are not. The US government maintains lists of unacceptable universities, and many of them from India are on that list. Some Indian universities don’t even exist. They are merely an office that will send bogus transcripts to foreign companies attempting to do an education background check.
CodeToad, I know all that from reading and IT field general knowledge but I couldn’t put it into words so well. Obviously you are a highly qualified expert. As such, I wish you would write a report and send it to President Trump (if you have not already done so.)
I have heard from IT people that when the program began, years ago, foreigners were pretty good employees, but over the years, they are not so good.
They take time off, a lot of time off, are not as interested in doing a good job and some say appear to be “lazy”, so perhaps they have changed their work ethic, and it does NOT resemble the true American worker’s.
