On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In,” Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) stated that, despite winning the Democratic primary, he will run for re-election in 2018 as an Independent.
Sanders said, “I have always run as an Independent, and that’s what I will do. And I think people in Vermont understand that. We have a very good relationship with the Democratic Party. I suspect that this coming campaign we’ll be putting more money — our campaign will be putting more money into the Vermont Democratic Party than anybody else and supporting a whole lot of good Democratic candidates.”
Host Ali Velshi then asked, “So, you will decline the Democratic nomination?”
Sanders answered that he would.

My guess is that even if the Democrats can replace Bernie as their US Senate candidate, they won’t.

Splitting the Leftist vote is a good move, Bernie. He and his grifter wife are looking for a big payoff from the Dems ito get him to drop out later. They had a big pay day from the Hillary campaign in 2016.
I agree. The Dems are cutting their free stuff for all losing strategy. Meanwhile, republicans kept obamare for the non ruling class, won’t build a wall, and how many Syrian rapefugees and H1b visas?
Changes have only come through exec orders, which feels good, but isn’t real change.

I think he’s running a game here. I think if he won the primaries he would be the D running against Trump but he say he is an independent. It’s the BS he does now, he’s as much a Rat as Pelosi but wears this BS badge. He caucus with the Rats and votes with them EVERY time. He knows damn well if he ran as an independent he gaurentees Trump wins in 20.
Good, split the vote you old socialist fart. Give the working people of Vermont a chance at voting in one of their own, rather than a Carpetbagger from NY or CT.
