Liberals/Progressives are pathetic in so many ways.
Most comedies today are unwatchable. I have to watch old sitcoms.

Good article. Comedy used to be a roundabout way of telling the truth about how silly humans are, and we could laugh at ourselves. Libs have ruined it by making it nothing but politically correct bullying, as the author points out. Comedy ain’t nothin’ like it used to be. I still watch reruns of ‘Frazier’ and enjoy them. They won’t run Archie Bunker though, will they? Wimps.

One of the things that the author didn’t point out (but many of us know anyway) is that ridicule of your enemy is one of Saul Alinsky’s ‘rules’.
If you can laugh at your enemy, you take away their power. The libs know this. THAT is why they want to control what people laugh at. If the majority of the country is laughing at them, who’s gonna take them seriously?
Can’t really watch much after 1965. The seventies and eighties classics they ripped up for PC and to add extra catheter commercials.
Modern comedians amaze me. They sold their soul at the PC altar for Obama and modern liberalism and no idea how to come back from it. They were some fun during President W’s administration but now they’re just sad. I’ve told some young local comedians that President Trump’s election should be a new golden age for them but leftist intolerance has now completely taken over their sense of humor.
I have only one rule about political humor. No matter who it’s about, it has to be funny. Sadly most of it fails.
I understand. But I’ll continue to call them Progressives because they have labeled themselves as such. They need to be called out.
Another one that bothers me is many on our side call it the Democratic Party. It is anything but Democratic. It’s the Democra(p)t Party.
PROGRESSIVE = REPRESSIVE/REGRESSIVE.

Probably at the gun range, making sure their aim is good and their ammo is dry. Because at some point the joke isn't so funny anymore.
I remember an interview with Mort Sahl, a 1960’s comedian whose schtick was pointed commentary on current events. A traditional Liberal, but never really vicious. He told a joke just after the closer than close (actually stolen from Nixon by the Cook County machine in Illinois and LBJ’s thugs in Texas) 1960 election that whenever JFK would walk down the street and see a couple coming towards him he’d know that one of them must have voted against him. Innocuous, right? Well, the Kennedy’s didn’t think so and word got to Sahl to get back in line. He was shocked, but this is how the Left has always operated. Get with the program or find yourself on a train heading east to the Gulag. Or in the Clinton’s case, end up committing suicide by shooting yourself three times in the back.
Then there's the 'laughter' and seal flapping every time the 'F' word is used...

What does an entire generation of stoners and addicts need comedy for? What if it is insensitive? They don’t need a comedian, they are slaves to drug induced neurochemical worship of hedonism.
