Or check around with ‘city guys’ about openings.

I was offered a position with the MSD, IIRC the listing was in “The Chicago Citizen”. There is more than a few ‘city guys’ that read many obscure publications for the job openings.
I ask my connection how he was so sure I would qualify and pass the many tests. He said the competition was not very stiff.
I suspect the unions also keep an eye on them too.

Just think, if Donald Trump had just kept living his Life rather than running and WINNING the Presidency, he would be much Richer than he is now and he would still be liked by both the Left and the Right.

As for the the threatened suit, when was the last time anyone was threatened for similar use of river water?
Being from San Francisco, I am very familiar with the effect a "combined system" has on outlet at the receiving body of water.
Does that combined system rely on an exemption from the Clean Water Act to dump raw sewage into the Chicago River?
The Chicago Water Authority may find that they have initiated a nightmare scenario for the City of Chicago, and unknown costs for mitigating their own, very large problem
There is something snake-like about "selective prosecution." How often is the water tested to monitor the effect of the raw sewage on users downstream?
If the so called suit by the Bugs and Bunny crowd proceeds, discovery should be a hoot, and the morons may find they have shot themselves in the foot.
A countersuit by The threatened business may be a special legal show to anticipate.
