A great question. While the guards were paid, the trains ran, trenches were dug, shoes and clothing sorted, every possible sense of humanity was violated so any perceived economic benefit is completely irrelevant. Evil is evil, there is no justification for it economic or otherwise. IMHO.

If we owned the airwaves, abortion would be illegal, and people advocating it would fear to speak out about it in public.
