Have you ever asked yourself why Progressive activists demonstrate so much compassion for illegal immigrants they have never met while treating fellow citizens that disagree with them so badly? The truth is they have little compassion, It is but an act. They are actually hate-filled misanthrops, full of rage.
Progressive activists exhibit the stereotypical virtue signalling, false compassion and rage of a pathological narcissist. True compassion isn't situational. Kind people are kind to everyone, they don't profess how much they care about illegal immigrants they have never met while calling their fellow citizens racists and Nazis.
Narcissists are pathologically driven to present a false face, a facade, a fake persona. It is the pretty tapestry they weave over the top of their ugly heart so no one can see it. At the same time, they can barely conceal their narcissistic rage. These traits are clearly visible when observing the behavior of progressive illegal immigration activists.
Illegal immigration activism is the perfect vehicle for the narcissist because it allows them to claim moral superiority and the high ground of compassion while at the same time venting their deep rage at those that dare disagree with the policies they support.
This brilliant essay written long ago by David Horowitz perfectly describes the disordered thought processes of the modern day extreme narcissist, the vanguard of the Progressive Movement. Yes, but you are only describing the manifestation of there pathologies and not the underlying psychological disorder that drives their behavior.
A commprehensive understanding of the nature and psychological processes of narcissists and narcissism, a Cluster B/Axis II Personality Disorder, is an absolutely indisposable tool in dealing with these kinds of people. The greatest fear of a narcissist is being exposed for who and what they are....... and they will eventually run from you as if you were a lump of kryptonite.

I have observed this narcissism up close and personal with certain leftist males in the clergy.
