After less than a day of deliberation, a jury of nine men and three women found FBI special agent Joseph Astarita not guilty of lying about a high-profile police shooting during the 2016 Malheur National Wildlife Refuge occupation.
Astarita faced two counts of making false statements and one count of obstruction of justice.
The charges stemmed from a critical moment during the occupation when spokesman Robert LaVoy Finicum was shot and killed by Oregon State Police after he fled a traffic stop along a remote stretch of highway in eastern Oregon.

Thanks for sharing that.
Why would I watch a video.. RELEASED BY THE FBI?
...
Because it is synchronized by the local investigators with video by one of the women in Finicum’s truck, and put on Youtube by the Oregon newspaper. This video has been available for viewing and analysis for two years.
Yep.
The FBI never lies about anything...

Also known as the FBLie...
When spokesman Robert LaVoy Finicum was murdered by Oregon State Police and FBI shooters after he was fired upon earlier along a remote stretch of highway in eastern Oregon, and tried to flee to the protection of honest law enforcement officals.
He and his party were instead ambushed at an illegal road block constructed around a blind curve by anonymous camouflaged backshooters.
Fixed it for you.
Yeah, we’re seeing a lot of CYA traffic on FR, too...
You're just saying that, because it's true...
They're not saying that it's aliens, but...
It's aliens.
Nice trick.
Wonder how many innocent people they had to murder to get that one down pat?

I appreciate that but I could not stand to put up with this sort of thing and you can bet you would be gone in any department that allows it. I was always against Civilian Review Boards and still aim for the most part. It would be great but Civilians can be gotten to like everyone else. We have sold our souls for a dollar. Just think and give me a profession that has not sold out in the last 25 years for the dollar. I know they say one bad apple doesn’t spoil the bunch but it appears it does. This breaks my heart. America is in dire straights if good people do not go to standing up and I am afraid the good are out numbered.

Me too, because usually CRB’s are set up with a political “slant.” Unfortunately, we are, in too many police agencies, dealing with internal corruption and the internal controls are also in many cases corrupt as well. I guess the open question to be asked is “are we still capable of self-governance?”
Ask Vince Foster his thoughts.
Self Governance depends on honesty and I am afraid no one is above reproach. The Dollar Rules! God Help Us Please.
