Judicial Activism: Earlier this month New Mexico police raided what many believe was a terrorist training camp on U.S. soil after the FBI refused to act in a timely manner.
Islamic extremist Siraj Ibn Wahhaj was arrested last week because he was allegedly training children to commit school shootings. Siraj ibn Wahhaj is the son of a Brooklyn imam who was named as a possible co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
But despite these very serious allegations and despite the fact that prosecutors in the case provided more than enough evidence to keep these alleged terrorists locked up for the good of public safety, the judge in the case has let them go on bond because their lawyer charged
Islamophobia!

So, how does that make them Muslims as is being reported in the headline(s)?
Why can this PC bullshit not be put down? A judge is an educated person. It is a position that requires thought. There was no thought involved in this decision. Where are the people on this? I would think the perp would beg to be kept in jail for his own safety. Sorry for the language, but I am fed up with this nonsense. And it IS nonsense.
Complete nonsense and OUTRAGEOUS.
What can be done to reverse this horrid decision?
Am I a bad person if I think this is funny?
“the judge in the case has let them go on bond because their lawyer charged Islamophobia!”
All cases such as this should end by escorting/transporting the ‘bad guys’to the front of the JUDGES HOME ! AND, given an explanation that they owe their freedom to the occupant of that house...and that it would be nice if they stopped by daily to “thank the judge.”
There are hundreds of these "camps" already in the US.
Someday people will realize that the government will not protect US and take that upon themselves.
This is very stupid and disturbing but not wholly unexpected.
Yes, we have one in Virginia.
And you believed the FBI who believed them?
Oh please, they found Korans all over the place.
The FBI didn’t raid this Killer camp, the local police did and they know what they found.
I will add that Americans should be demanding these monsters get locked up and that RAT judge should be impeached.
This needs to be the end of this judges career. This judge is obviously mentally compromised.
Clearly.
“What can be done to reverse this horrid decision?”
It is clear the judge has succumbed to PC. I really don’t understand how an intelligent, thinking person falls for it, but they do. The judge needs to see this has happened and apologize for becoming caught up in the PC groupthink. Where are the local residents? Hopefully they are camped on his doorstep, but more likely the really angry ones will send an email or something. Honestly, they have more incentive to side with the Left, who are willing to break things. Not saying we should throw tantrums like the Left does, but the fact remains people in a position of power, particularly those beholding to voters, know certain groups will go berserk, so they go out of their way to pander to them.
Next stop in the degeneration of America...England.
This was a Taos County judge who bought the defense argument that the only reason they were in custody was that they were black and Muslim!! The defense said it was not illegal to have guns and if this were a small group of whites they would not even have been arrested. Taos County, for those that might not know, is home to lots of artsy/fartsy types, IOW libs.
The judge released them on a signature bond (not requiring upfront bail money) on condition that they were good boys and girls, that they could not leave the county (not country) and they wear a GPS ankle monitor. Also, the father (accused of kidnapping the now deceased boy) is being held on a fugitive warrant from Georgia. It was reported that the child abuse charges were not even discussed as part of the hearing. The eleven children still alive are in custody of the state CYF Department.
“Am I a bad person if I think this is funny?”
Gotta either laugh or cry at this point. Ridiculous.
“What can be done to reverse this horrid decision?”... .
You want a politically correct answer or a permanent solution?
Well, there’s a reason I don’t live in New Mexico. It’s the same reason I left my long time home of Seattle seven years ago for rural KY.
And loving it!
