Phil Mudd can go from 0-60 faster than a Ferrari. After a long, measured, discussion on CNN this morning about the firing of Peter Strzok [Mudd thought it was the right decision], co-host John Berman invited Mudd, a former CIA and FBI official, to comment on President Trumps failure to mention John McCain during a signing ceremony of the defense authorization bill named in his honor.
Mudd became immediately enraged, going off on this epic rant:
Are you kidding me? Let me get this straight. So the President has insulted everybody from former Presidents Bush and Obama, Rex Tillerson, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina. The guys got the temperament of a second-grader. My mom would have washed my mouth out with soap, and we sit there and say its okay if he does it because hes been doing it for 72 years. You cant even spend 10 seconds to thank a guy whos on his deathbed? Really? Thats what we have to go tell a kid is what is presidential? Unbelievable, John. I mean, it just pisses me off.

Well, you got that right. Nothing else, but I’m angered. McTraitor needs no support from any quarter, especially here.
“Whatever their disagreements,”
McCain is a well established RINO. This goes beyond disagreements.

The above link will take you to the McCain Memorial in Hanoi.
Our communist enemies thought enough of this guy to erect a memorial in his honor. Why McCain?

There’s not much difference between this guy and Jane Fonda.
Not a chance, McCain is a bigger traitor to this country than
Benedict Arnold. Do we ignore (which is largely being done by all news outlets) his role in phoney Mueller probe? Voting against Obamacare because HE was the 2 yr old that day? Brilliant move by Trump, McCain is not worthy of any praise, hes been given way too much to begin with.
“There are some things senators are called to do as well; such as keep their word.”
No doubt, and I’m sure we could agree on a long list of McCain’s transgressions.
But under the circumstances, I believe the right, the presidential, the Christian thing if you will, for Trump to have done was to find at least a couple of words of praise for the dying McCain.
I think President Trump should have praised McCain. Whatever their disagreements, however Trump feels McCain has stabbed him in the back, the fact is that the guy is on his deathbed, and spent years in the Hanoi Hilton, refusing to be released so long as his buddies were being held.

One of the things I value about our President, perhaps the thing I value MOST about him, is his honesty. To come out and praise McCain would have been the height in hypocrisy. McCain didn’t just stab Trump in the back, he stabbed all of the good people in America in the back by voting to keep Obamacare and he doesn’t deserve the SLIGHTEST amount of respect from any of us.
Not angered, disappointed that a FReeper could post such tripe. His Commanding Officer in the Hanoi Hilton POW camp tried to send that POS to a Courts Martial for helping the enemy by was disuaded for political reasons, and has been a backstabber to the POW/MIA community every since. There are a hell of a lot of Americans who are vying for the Gatorade concession at his eventual grave, so guys can have a second go at letting go on his grave. No honor, no loyalty, but an ace pilot, destroyed five airplanes.... Oh wait, they were all ours. Doesn’t wash his hands after taking a dump. He is a horrible person, a foul officer, a failed politician, unfaithful to his wife, and a kept man now. President Trump was absolutely right to ignore him. May that useless excuse for a man rot in hell.
Sorry Trump is a warrior and at that takes no prisoners. If hes hard on McCain and others who have dissed him in front and behind his back it tells his true enemies what hell do to them.
Let me remind you, with all do respect, that McCain started this. Hes also the k s who sent the dossier to the fbi. He got out of his death bed to vote down the House and senate bill to end Obama care.
McCain also ridicules trump with nato Putin etc.
Sorry Trump shows no mercy to his enemies and those of the people...
Its a defense budget bill and McCain had nothing to do with it. Names of bills have nothing to do with the bills themselves. When McCain dies I hope his staff goes away. They are running the show. Its like they own a Senate seat as long as the pulse keeps beating. McCain is just a lifeless body on a drip somewhere in Arizona.
seems he has been on that deathbed for too damn long. Whats he waiting for ?
“My mom would have washed my mouth out with soap...”
Yet your mom raised a freaky liberal. You shouldn’t be implying that your mom was anything special when it comes to parenting skills.
I’ll take a potty mouth who loves America over a whining America-hating socialist any day of the week.
If Trump had mentioned McCain, they would ridicule him for that, because of his well known conflicts with McCain. Essentially, EVERYTHING Trump does, says, doesn’t do, doesn’t say, pisses off 99 percent in media.
McCain is a real life Eddie Haskell.
The guy in school who always had the ready smile and (thought) had the mothers eating out of his hand while they knew what he was YET always said ‘You should be more like Johnny’ etc. (AND we mumbled ‘I don’t think you would like that’)
How much time and money wasted on him at USNA mainly because son of a Grad and Grad GFather then flight school where mere mortals were washed out of both because they didn’t fold their socks correctly.
I realize someone has to ride the bottom slot BUT normally they don’t rise to such prominence for such a performance.
“the fact is that the guy is on his deathbed,”
Oh, puh-leeze. The traitor isn’t dying; he’s in hiding.
I was watching Fox Business during and after their coverage of the Bill signing. They tried the same cheap shot with their guest of the minute, who pushed it nicely aside. If Neal Cavouto and his guests had been on at the same time, it would have been the subject of the day.
Because after that one event in his life that raised his profile to "hero" status, he has not distinguished himself at all in his personal or professional life since.
As a matter of fact, his career in the Senate has been undistinguished and he was a terrible Senator from my home state of Arizona for years when he would side with the democRATS and stab the GOP in the back.
And then when he did get a chance to redeem himself when he got the GOP nomination for president, he was the WORST Republican candidate for president in my lifetime, outside of Bob Dole maybe.
His involvement in the Keating Five scheme showed his true moral compass. He got caught with his hand in the till. Except for his moniker in the media as Maverick, because he went against the GOP so many times, he sided with the democRATS more than not.
I won't belabor the point anymore, even though I could make a long list of undistinguished events in his "career" in politics after carpetbagging his start in politics by abandoning his first wife for some prettier eye-candy, except to say McCain does not deserve any more praise for his time in politics.
He's still hanging on, trying to backstab Trump every chance he gets. Maybe Trump should have taken the high road and mentioned his name, but McCain has never taken the high road in his life.
“If Trump had mentioned McCain, they would ridicule him for that, because of his well-known conflicts with McCain.”
True. But sometimes you have to do the right thing regardless of the consequences.
And just like that, liberals turn into McCainiac worshipers
HEY MUDD!!!
It ‘pisses me off’ that his name is attached to the bill. Apparently, he hasn’t left Arizona for a while and attaching his name as an ‘honor’ is BS.
PDT handled it properly, IMNSHO.
If ‘we’ can’t force them out for senility, there should be some kind of reg that they have to show up at least once a year, walking into the chamber under their OWN power, no stretchers, no IVs, no oxygen tanks etc.
If you can’t do that once every 365(6) days, maybe you should think of ‘packing it in’ work wise.
Especially when your ‘voice’ represents so many people.
