Italy on Monday denied safe harbor to 141 people rescued by the humanitarian ship M/V Aquarius off the coast of Libya last week, setting up another standoff with European Union allies over taking in migrants who try to cross the Mediterranean.

The guy operating and coordinating the Aquairus missions will NOT wait for coastguard to authorize picking up the people and refuses to return them to Libya....he wanders the coast of Libya just 25 to 20 miles off shore so it's a fast pick up for him and his ten person crew.
