A decorated Army chaplain at Fort Bragg in North Carolina could face a possible court martial and even military prison after he explained to a soldier he could not conduct a marriage retreat that included same-sex couples because of his religious beliefs, his attorneys allege.

As Ruth Graham stated according to her husband Billy Graham, “If God doesn’t punish America, He’ll have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.”

Isn’t court-martial reserved for offenses against military regulations?

Is there a gay-marriage military code of conduct? Seems unnecessary, to say the least.

President Trump is the Commander-in-Chief. He is not powerless to change this policy.

You know, if Satan was going to finally destroy America, he could inspire his useful idiots to elect this guy to one, then two terms:

Their tactic: force people to choose between their beliefs and their job. They know this will work, and that most people will choose to keep their job.

“He is not powerless to change this policy.”

The president is supposed to set policy, but the implementation is way down the chain. It is rare for the top guy to get involved and when he does it could cause more problems than it fixes. (It’s called micromanagement and the staff hates it.) Chances are this particular event will not get very far in any case as somewhere along the line a general should get involved and change the policy.

I am assuming somebody complained and started this chain of events. That is the real problem that needs fixing.

Also, the court martialed person should get in touch with his senators. (Assuming they are not Democrats.) It’s amazing what a phone call from a senator’s office will do.

Aside from the transban, Trump has been curiously very hands off in regards to the military’s social engineering experiments.

Put the blame where it belongs.

With Anthony Kennedy, who personally felt that he knew better what a marriage was than anyone else who had ever lived in 10,000 years of prior human history.

This wasn’t supposed to happen...From Sept 2011:

https://archive.is/20120707160432/http://articles.cnn.com/2011-09-30/us/us_same-sex-marriage-military_1_military-chaplains-marriage-act-military-installation

Ten days after the military dumped its “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy on gays and lesbians in the military, the Pentagon has issued new rules allowing military chaplains to perform same-sex marriages, but only if allowed by law and the chaplain’s beliefs.

“A military chaplain may participate in or officiate any private ceremony, whether on or off a military installation, provided that the ceremony is not prohibited by applicable state and local law,” a memo released Friday says.

“Further a chaplain is not required to participate in or officiate a private ceremony if doing so would be in variance with the tenets of his or her religion.”

It’s up to us patriots to elect patriot lawmakers to Congress in the 2018 midterm elections that will do their job to protect the constitutionally enumerated rights of people like the referenced Army chaplain.

Watch this one too, have to go all the way to the Supreme Court. There is a chaplain in the military system for every 2-bit belief system out there, including Wicca and animist stuff. Homo couples can go participate with a homo group and not try to force their behavioral choices onto a chaplain who they KNOW in advance will not accept it. You don’t go to an imam and demand a gay wedding, do you? No one would dare try. This is just further dilution and marginalization of traditional values, by the Marxist Left.

If I recall my Genesis the inhabitanys of Sodom were invited by Lot to step forward and walk away from their inquity. None did. So it was not Sodom but the inhabitants individual choices to sin that were punished. I do not believe in collective spiritual punishment. If I did then like Jefferson I would tremble in the belief there is a Just God. My salvation or damnation will be on me and my actions and how the Lord will judge them.

Liberals would love to see this chaplain literally crucified for following God’s laws when they conflict with man’s.

Large numbers of officers have already been forced out of the military for their objection to implementing the homosexual agenda. The euphemism is usually that the officer “fails to inspire confidence.”

This doesn’t make sense - the military allows for conscientious objectors yet force this on chaplains?

Poor reporting in this news article as there are no dates indicating when all of these events occurred.

Mad Dog is not “mad” enough.
Mattis has always supported this present policy.
He also still supports Trans remaining in active service.
What’s a president to do?

Homosexuality is held to be sacred, and Christianity profane.

Exactly. Not only sacred to those who want to embrace it, but mandated sacred to those who deplore it.
