Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) said American who agree with President Donald Trump’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy that caused the separation of families “have not come to understand what faith is.”
Kasich then cited Biblical doctrine of loving your neighbor.
Kasich said, “The reason why I did not go to our convention and support Donald Trump as president is I’m not for a divider. I’m not for people who say the reason you don’t have something it’s because somebody else took your stuff that’s told victimization. I don’t believe in that.”

Kasich, like many typical pols can twist and dissemble without second thought or troubled conscience. I’m truly surprised he has not said that his father was, “a man of letters.”
We can’t be separating these “families” at the border from their golden ticket into America, right Johnny?

Whereas the governor of a large and important State demonstrates his total lack of knowledge and understanding of the laws of the United States and of his own State.
His best quality is stupidity.
Our policy on immigration is to enforce the laws. Many of those that were separated could not show they were related to the children they claimed to be. Does Kasich support children traveling with traffickers?
“Families” have been being separated at the border for years, it seems it is only wrong if Trump is President. Some families were separated because their parents were going to be held in a detention center. That is no different than when people other than illegals are locked up, children are not kept with the parent in jail.
Kasich has always been weak on border issues, I believe he supports open borders and illegal immigration. I don’t remember what he has said on the subject in the past- but his comments about this are very telling.
President Trump made no secret that he planned to enforce immigration laws and secure the border. That is why I voted for him. If illegal aliens do not want to be detained, do not want to risk being separated from their children they should not come here illegally.
So, in John Kasich’s Ohio, whenever someone is arrested, their family gets hauled off to jail as well, so that the family is not separated?
They are parading this guy AGAIN around on Sunday morning TV shows?
Well, he's out of business so he'll accept any gig to trash Trump.
