Bushwah.
Really? Do you think I am that I am that ignorant of Catholicism as to not know this, or so careless that I cannot back it up?
How many descriptions will it take for you to admit what I stated was not rubbish/nonsense, but factual? Well here one to start with:
Newly renovated, the clubroom provides the perfect atmosphere for Knights and Social members to mingle. Centralized around the bar, the room offers plenty of seating within view of a hd television. © 2018 Knights of Columbus Council 554. All rights reserved. http://www.massillonkofc554.org/facilities.html
And in addition to member bars, they rent out rooms where people can booze it up, like these.

Another: "Welcome to the Batesville Knights of Columbus" Our facility is all on one level. We have a full service bar open 7 days a week. https://batesvillekofc.com/
Want more? Of course, Luther (whom many Catholics seem to think we follow like a pope, or how they used to say a pope is to be followed, drank at pubs, as did most men of his day, not that i think he should have. But the context her is that of a bar in a church, with a church society bar being the closest thing i could think of to that.
Fine. But a K of C hall isn't a church. Not everywhere Catholic men go together is a church. A church is where Our Lord resides, body, blood, soul, and divinity. It has a way different purpose. The priest drinking the wine at the altar has nothing to do with entertainment and camaraderie--good as those things are. It's part of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
Is the K of C giving to dismember babies? I think I am pretty good with guys having a beer.

Put down the chalice, sparky.
Frequenting the local Knights of Columbus is not part of our weekly ritual.
