A boycott would imply that the fans who have stopped watching NFL games will come back if they are satisfied that something has changed for the better.
I'd venture to guess that at least 95% of the fans who claim they are participating in a "boycott" are never coming back no matter what. Once they've found other things to do on a Sunday afternoon, they're not coming back.
Totally agree. Never a big NFL watcher but what little I did watch it, I won’t anymore, no matter what else happens.
