Trump Administration Boots Hundreds More Federal Employees out of Washington DC
The Western Journal ^ | August 10, 2018 | None stated

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is moving two agencies and roughly 700 federal employees out of Washington, D.C., to save money and improve the department’s service to taxpayers. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue announced Thursday that the Economic Research Service and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture will be fully moved out of the nation’s capital by 2020, according to the USDA.

YES! Extremely good logic. More of President Trump's campaign goals are progressing forward. Don't you just love common sense management?

"Roughly 700 USDA employees could be moved, Economic Research Service News reports."

Worth reading. Some support links at the source article.

Might be the most important Trump initiative. Move as much of the fedgov as possible out of the DMV area!

And the majority of them will hate it. Because promotion in the government now is to be seen by your superiors, to be kissing up, and flattery.

If you are out in the hinterlands, you miss all the parties where you can pump up your own name.

Even in the DoD, the real soldiers and civilians who spend a lot of time deployed, never get the promotions there compatriots do who stay around the flagpole.

This is the best way to get rid of these burrowed Democrat civil servants. Most will not want to move and will chose to retire. They can be replaced by less partisan employees in their new digs.

The department of education should be moved to Savoonga Alaska, if we are still going to have the Department.

They would learn a lot.

This is Mick Mulvaney doing this. Streamlining government. Trump’s best pick imho.

Apparently, there’s more than one way to drain a swamp.

Brilliant. Divide and conquer. Dilute the group think in DC by spreading employees throughout the nation — preferably in small towns.

Today the USDA. Next week move on to another agency.

Not just the government. If the entire department is moving there, apart from political appointees, there ought not be a problem.

Good observation. This should force the usual games to end. It is about getting the job done. If those at the top don’t get it and cooperate, bye, bye.
