Think people are losing their minds over President Trump? Maybe its not all in your head.
The American Psychological Association is holding its annual convention in San Francisco, and there are no fewer than 15 symposiums, panel discussions and paper presentations devoted to the psychological ills that practitioners believe are spreading under the president.
The list of Trump-related topics at the four-day conference covers the psychic waterfront. Metaphors and the Trump Administration: What Are Effective Responses? Healing Practices and Models for Undocumented Students in the Trump Era. Gaining Perspective: Intergroup Conflict Intervention With Trump Supporters and Opponents.
And, #MAGA: What Pro-Trump Hashtags Tell Us About the 2016 Election.
Speakers at the conference, which has drawn 11,000 psychologists from around the country, say the glut of Trump-gazing is understandable: The political world is freaking a lot of people out.
In the psychological associations 2017 Stress of America survey, 57 percent of respondents said the current political climate was a top source of angst in their lives. More people were stressed out by politics than their family responsibilities (49 percent) or their health situation (also 49 percent.)
Political-related stress has never scored that high in the dozen years the organization has been putting America on the survey couch. Now, people who live in the world of the 50-minute hour are seeing poli-stress every day.
Were seeing it in our clients, were seeing it our colleagues people are on edge, said Fred Bemak, a George Mason University professor who will be leading a symposium Friday on The Impact of Global Politics and the Trump Era on Psychology.

The liberals thought they had finally defeated the American people but the American people have rallied.
And the liberals are gnashing their teeth in frustration.
“The American Psychological Association is holding its annual convention in San Francisco”
You mean their braving the $hit, needles, and homeless?
Maybe the left and the DS are having a bad time of it, but those of us who are too stupid to know better are doing just fine.
“Analyzing the Trump effect: Is America having a nervous breakdown?”
Nah, only the dims who are suffering chronic-nervous-breakdown!
AH - HA - HA - HA - HA - HA! I Love it!
People are about to be red-pilled against their will. It will be hard for many. They’ve been so wrong. About so many things.
The cure: turning off the MSM and staying off social media.
I think that lefties patronize shrinks more than conservatives do. Since they talk about twelve years, that would be wish-washy Bush, Muslim Communist Obama - both of which they were cool with - and now these last two years where Trump drove them nutz and off to see the shrinks.
Living rent-free in their heads LOL!
Maybe they think it means 'half an American' voted for Trump, kind of like the '3 Brazilian Soldiers Died' Bush joke.
Well, that is center of mass for crazy land.
I forgot about TDS - Lol !!! Not one paper on TDS ??? Lol !!!
Liberal minds were unhinged long ago. It’s just more obvious when the President is Donald Trump.
No, America had a nervous breakdown and President Trump is trying to restore the nation to a state of serenity. But many are trying to make the breakdown even worse. May God help the President succeed and overcome evil with good.

Here’s one: GO HOME!
I’ve been binge watching #walkaway videos.
The red-pilling is happening all over the place.
Note the lack of any sense of irony of this writer.

Actually it’s more like withdrawal from a nasty meth addiction that lasted 8 years.
