Former President Barack Obama is on the Vineyard.
The 44th president of the United States arrived on Saturday, and is expected to be on-Island for much of August, according to multiple sources. Throughout his presidency, Obama and his family took summer holidays on the Vineyard, and showed a fondness for Chilmark.

Yes there have been a whole lot of great white sharks spotted close to the beaches in the cape cod area lately. May they drift toward the vineyard to take a big bite!

The book was written by Tom Shachtman, much of it from records which had been stored in Mrs. Weiss’s garage for nearly 50 years. She also did many of the interviews...’
I know that I’ll sleep better knowing that the Obama family got to spend some time on Martha’s Vineyard. I was sooooo worried about them.
