Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach's lead over Gov. Jeff Colyer in the Republican primary has shrunk to only 91 votes after election officials discovered a mistake in the listing for one county's results in the state's tally of votes.

The lead is minuscule when compared with the 311,000 votes cast.

The final, unofficial results posted on the secretary of state's website show Kobach winning Thomas County in northwest Kansas, with 466 votes to Colyer's 422. But the tally posted by the Thomas County clerk's office shows Colyer with 522 votes, or 100 votes more for him, a number the clerk confirmed to The Associated Press on Thursday.

.
Are you attempting to deny that the vast majority of county clerks across the country are Dems?

The conversation is about Thomas County, KS, not county clerks across the country, but you already know that.

My statements were clearly all about the whole bunch.

You jumped in late and didn’t back-search.

I read all of your posts and I understand what you said, but your correct observation does not apply in this case, the error occurred in Thomas County, KS, not in Prince William Co, VA or some other mega county around the country. By the way, you do understand that the error was in transcription and the original error was in Kobach’s favor and the gals at the courthouse got it fixed when they got back from lunch.

The same situation is being replayed across the country, and they all count.
