He’ll probably win, but he’s only in trouble because of his convention antics.

The double standard used here is of the same level as any left wing nut - Vote your conscience - may not be an endorsement of Trump but neither is it a denigration of Trump

The Trumpsters on FR will NEVER understand this - same as the Left wing nuts in that regard.

And yes Trump has had an EXCELLENT presidency to date. I am especially delighted with his ability to expose the Commies on parade - Including the likes of Max Boot and other like him - supposed "conservatives"

Most people took it as the slam that it was.

Vote your conscience - may not be an endorsement of Trump but neither is it a denigration of Trump

That statement might be true during a primary, but Ted Cruz said it at the convention, after Trump had already secured the nomination.

It was a despicable, divisive thing to say, and most people saw it as such.

I'm a Texan, and was a staunch Cruz supporter, from the time he first ran for the U.S. Senate. He was my first choice in the 2016 primary, and is the first politician I ever gave real money to. Had Trump not run, Cruz would have been my guy to the bitter end.

Sadly, the pressure of running for president brought out character flaws in the man that turned myself and millions of other conservatives off. In Texas, many of us will now be holding our noses when we vote for him in November.
