Was going to say the same thing. That kind of voter participation during a main election is crazy. Even for a presidential year election.
I hope the secretary of state is investigating this after the fact. This is a good trial and opportunity for clearing up some serious issues disenfranchising the voters of the State of Ohio.
There was no 87% turnout for any candidate in this race. The Democrat vote total in 2018 was 87% of the Democrat vote total in 2016. The actual voter turnout in this race was probably about 45% at best.
