I like the sound of that.
Since Mexico’s second highest source
of income (after oil)is the tax they put on money wired to families from the US...it’s reasonable.
Sounds good to me.
$2000 is not enough. Illigal labor is way for Made in Mexico to be loopholed made in America ezcaping tariffs
Sounds good - I’d make it $10000 for a first offence. If the same illegal gets caught a second time then double it, and double it again for each time after that: 20k, 40k, 80k, 160k etc etc
Initiate the tax
Take away Birthright Citizenship
End the refugee program, in its entirety, unless the US is directly responsible for their situation and ONLY after a Safe Place cannot be found/built.
EVerify w/ stiff penalties for employers.
Identify and locate all those using duplicate SSNs and pay a visit to their worksites/employers.
We won’t need a Border Wall, but it’d still be amazing to have.
Makes too much sense. Congress will never pass it. /s
“Penalizes foreign aid to Mexico and other countries by $2,000 for every illegal alien that is apprehended. The held back funds are redirected to the border wall fund.”
.
.
.
Why are we giving Mexico and “other countries” (I assume this means central and south America) foreign aid to begin with? Cut all aid, and build the wall. I have no desire to foreign nationals here, but why am I supporting them in their own country as well?
U.S. foreign aid to Mexico is only about $320 million a year in all aid. At that rate it would fund the wall...in 78 years.
At a minimum.
>>Charges a fee for all money transfers when receivers are outside the United States. Collected fees go to the border wall fund.<<
FINALLY!!!
Dang, I thought that was low-hanging fruit for Trump to pluck Day One!
But it s easier and more permanent as legislation instead of EO. It is just SLOWER to implement.
Why not also a 100% tax on fluorescent dash-top Jesus figurines..?
And tickets for blaring oom pah-pah music.
This is Great!
About time.
Far better to tax all cash transmissions/mailings (Western Union,US Mail,Fed Ex,etc) 10%...or more.
and a 50% tax for all money orders or wires from CONUS to Mexico and 25% to Central American countries, 10% to S. America.
a 30% tax on western union money transfers going south to mexico and beyond would be a nice start .
Tax Mexico at 20 Billion per illegal. Breaking even will not happen at 2,000. Besides entering legally costs more than 2,000
Take the costs for building the wall out of the foreign aid we send to Mexico. At nearly $90 million for 2018, it will go a long way toward construction.
How about -
Hire illegal aliens from south of the border to build the border wall! -
pay them minimum wage (bet many of them will take the jobs),
set up camps south of the border for them to live, charging them for lodging and food,
operating shops to sell them whatever they need (to make profits for us);
provide money wiring or delivery services for a fee (to make profits for us), etc., etc.
have tight patrol at the border to keep them from sneaking into USA, and, if captured (for sneaking in), fine them by garnishing their wages.....
And, on top of all, tax them on their gross wages.....
We will end up keeping most of the money we pay them for their labor.
Viola, costs of the border wall will be minimal.
If the liberal, social warriors and whatnot yell about injustice or inhuman, well, they can go to replace these illegal aliens to build the wall under the same conditions and they will ease their own conscience.....
(They cannot complain about hiring illegal aliens because that is what they want to do all the time.)
