Truly a sign of the times. . .IMHO we are right up against the 70th Week of Daniel.

Some folks, I guess, don’t like the idea of “Harvesting.”

Shows how tolerant the left is.

They demand tolerance, defined as totally supporting their view, for them.

They decline any sort of tolerance of those they disagree with.

"It's sad that our culture is at this degree of intolerance...There's such intolerance against Christianity that we aren't allowed to state that or to publicly advertise this event. That's amazing."

Yes, the oh so tolerant Leftist culture in California can not tolerate Christians.

The Democrats are so invested in identity politics that they have completely abandoned anyone with Christian morals.

They are also doing anything they can to isolate and denigrate Christians.

What is truly amazing is that the Democrats have been so successful in their efforts that the Republican establishment wishes to all but abandon Christian morality in the Republican platform.

The Republicans want to abandon their alliance with the Christian Right.

However, after claiming the religious imagery on the ads provoked multiple complaints, including a “serious threat,” the Irvine Company mandated the billboards be modified.

Complaints and "serious threat" are NOT sufficient to deny free speech.

It is the job of law enforcement to address any "serious threat".

I'm pretty sure there are more than a few billboards around LA that we can "complain" about. Likely, some owned by this same company.

Let's see how they respond to our complaints.

I’ll have to read the story. The world is going to be surprised. When this Church Age ends they get

1) The Two (righteous) Witnesses and then
2) The (Devil’s own) Antichrist.

Laugh it up, secular world. Laugh it up.

So he took off all the offensive things strangers complained about, like the Bible and a cross. They ended up cancelling his signs anyway. Something tells me there’s a powerful lesson in that!

Jeremiah 6:10 “ the Word of the Lord has become offensive to them.”

The wife and I attended the first of Greg Laurie’s Harvests during our first year of marriage 27 years ago. That gathering was at the Fair Grounds Amhitheater. It was fully packed and it was wonderful. While typing this it just occurred to me that this is exactly how I feel about my wife. We have been blessed and Greg has been part of our journey since the beginning.

“We’re certainly not upset with The Irvine Company.”

Why not?

Yes, the word of the Lord is offensive to them. As is the Cross. Satan hates the Cross.

My bet is the Harvest event exceeds attendance expectations as a result of this needless social engineering. God has a far bigger hand than spineless ad execs or loudmouthed liberal whiners

Just think the reaction to the name of Jesus, if it had been plastered on the Billboard.

Even in my bumpkin little world, you can’t miss all the “Islam is So Sweet And Wonderful!” billboards everywhere.

They even mention Jesus.

They make me sick.

Who knew that Satan had an advertising budget?

I think it’s all going to come together quickly.

But yes, the Antichrist must subdue 3 of those.

This is the overt dogma from Herbert Marcuse. Nothing is by accident.

IF the billboard company had any spine- they would have said to those complaining “Yeah? He’s a pastor- that’s what pastors do- carry bibles- get a life, will ya? The billboard stays!”
