1) Stays cooler in summer and cooler to the touch (versus darker color)
2) Better visibility for other drivers at dusk, dawn or at night. More important for those who drive more frequently in low light conditions.
3) Doesn't show every little scratch or dent like a black car does.
4) Requires fewer washings because darker vehicles show dust and grime sooner than lighter colored vehicles with the same amount of dirt.
Are there ANY reasons for having a black car other than it looks good right after it's been washed?

Case closed. LOL! I’ve had white cars and liked them way better than the dark gray I have now. it shows EVERY little dust mote.
