https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/08/07/us/elections/results-ohio-special-house-election-district-12.html
Polls close at 7:30pm ET
It’s down to 4.7% with that last report ... and a lot of those votes came from Franklin County (i.e. Columbus ... big D stronghold).
I find that the more I complain, the better Balderson does.
Gasoline makes me vomit. I hate dot-matrix printers. Steel is too heavy to carry.
Franklin County did a big vote dump, and Balderson’s percentage in that county shot up to 32.5 percent.
Franklin doesn’t have a lot left in the tank. Unless Delaware County springs a nasty surprise on us, I don’t see how Balderson loses.
Like I said theyre milking the numbers for OConnor as long as they can, but hes gradually slipping as the votes come in!
I agree but we need this douche bag to win.
Well, these seem to be bringing us good luck, so here's another (NOTE: not my dog).
Hopefully, but this is where we got snickered last time thinking the republican areas would come through and they didn’t...Moore in Alabama.
The color orange makes me sad. Tuba’s piss me off. I hate rye.
LOL, keep working it, Laz.
Yup. I’m enjoying the suspense because I know the outcome. I’m here with a nice Malbec and a Rocky Patel Decade at the ready.
Incumbent
I'm not sure of numbers, but in Ohio precincts in suburban areas generally are set up to share the voters equally to minimize long lines for voting.
Uhhhh OK,I don’t know guns to well. But I know “gun control”
“Im enjoying the suspense because I know the outcome.”
You time travelers make me sick with all of your temporal displacement and laughing at us primitives.
Elastic on underwear is stupid! It rains too much! Why are distances so small on maps, its dumb!
Primary & Special election Results thus far:
- John James will easily win the Republican primary election to be the GOP Senate Candidate, running against Democrat, Debbie Stabenow.
- Josh Hawley will easily win the Republican primary election to be the GOP Senate Candidate, running against Democrat, Claire McCaskill
- Kris Kobach is in a tight race for GOP Governor candidate in Kansas, He is however running very strong.
_ The Ohio 12thCD has a long way to go yet. Troy Balderson is right now playing strong catch-up to Democrat Danny O’Connor. Stay tuned!!! The night is yet young!!!
All these above folks are fully backed and supported by our great POTUS, Donald J. Trump.
Prediction - John James will become the next Senator from Michigan and Josh Hawley will become the next Senator from Missouri.
Side bar: DJR will soon campaign in TEXAs for Ted Cruz at Cruz’request. Shucks that will be a “barnburner” Rally!!!
[Franklin doesnt have a lot left in the tank.]
Have the absentee ballots been factored in?
Think of all the Dems getting their pathetic hopes up only to be crushed yet again lol
Betting markets for Balderson now. Unreal. Nate Cohn apparently says he’d rather be in Balderson’s position right now.
Here’s the ‘thing’. lower turnout in a favorable area means less total votes overall. Even though you hit your percentage.
National media depresses R turnout in special elections IMO. National media can’t do that when there are a whole bunch of local elections going on at the same time.
Anyway, this special election ain’t over.
