Thomas W. Chittum warns in “Civil War II:” “To understand the future, study the past. Throughout world history, all multi-ethnic empires have broken up, and almost always in cataclysmic violence. Therefore, the question is not if the multi-ethnic American Empire will shatter, but when and under what circumstances.”

It's not so much ethnicity that divides us, but culture.

In times past, immigrants came to America from a multitude of different racial and cultural backgrounds, but most of them chose to assimilate into our American culture. Those who made that conscious effort, became mainstream Americans, and their progeny benefited greatly for it, as did the nation.

The motto, 'E Pluribus Unum', means, 'From Many, One'.

Striving toward that ideal - ONE people - not a hodgepodge of conflicting cultures, is what makes for a strong and united country.

If there is to be a break-up of this nation, one of its chief causes will be multi-culturalism, which is a repugnant assault against the very concept of America.

The Left, which now preaches this destructive idea as an article of faith, has itself, become an alien culture within our midst. If civil war should come, it will be a violent divide between the culture of America, and the alien culture of the Left.

Agreed. Identity politics is the most toxic poison (one of many) swirling in the gut of our Republic. By its very nature, it can only get more and more toxic until it the day where it either becomes lethal or is vomited out in a realization of the danger it presents.
