Do we have laws or don't we?
While I recognize the absurdity of this case I keep coming back to illegal immigration and Zero Tolerance in enforcing our laws.
Why is illegal immigration out of control?
Because we selectively enforce our laws, we keep making exceptions, and those exceptions become precedent and then our laws become meaningless and unenforceable.
If we keep making exceptions why have any laws at all?
