The Left’s constant blaming of Russia for something the Left’s representatives did with Russia is fanning the flames of war. It’s fortunate that Trump won and sanity is temporarily imposed. Nothing as incendiary (and false) would have been printed during the cold war. But other than apparently changing it’s politics, Russia is just as dangerous today as it was then. The Left are idiots to keep poking the bear on the theory that it hurts Trump.
Anyone have a picture of our guys landing on the beach (can’t remember where. Haiti?) and the lights went on and the beach was filled with newsies.
The media have a serious problem on their hands. They have monumentalized every trivial criticism against the President, so when they have a legitimate criticism, it gets ignored. Further, by personalizing all of their criticism, they have made this a measuring contest against a man who does not depend on them (unlike most politicians).
Take as an example the Helsinki press conference. They excoriated President Trump for saying he didn’t know “why it would” be Russia trying to interfere. When the President came out a few days later and admitted he mispoke, using the positive “would” when he meant to say “wouldn’t”, they called him a liar for accepting the blame for a serious mistake.
Americans understand mistakes. They understand especially well when said mistakes are admitted and owned by the mitaken party. But the press only sees a way to excoriate conservatives, while ignoring similar and worse from liberals.
The press, by being partisans, have damaged themselves and uplifted the President’s ability to mock them. They have no one to blame but themselves.

Yes, and they give our enemies’ information operations constant feedback and support on how their efforts are affecting US citizens. Many adversaries and other strategists believe US center of gravity is the political will of our people (the North Vietnamese in fact taught this very thing to Arafat and the Palestinians after the war) and they all get regular updates and help from our own enemedia. Nice, huh?
The media likes to blame President Trump for us hating them. That landing was the exact moment we went from disliking them to pure, visceral hatred.
They are so oblivious they didn’t notice until now.
