Fires are what keep the bark beetle in check. Also no fires and duff keeps building up. In the early 80’s the duff was way to thick but there was not the infestation there is now. I do not remember the forest as being half dead back then.
And you are correct - USFS to blame.

The jet stream, the river of wind high above the Northern Hemisphere, has been weaker and wavier in the past few weeks, scientists say. The "scientists" should consult with weathermen. The jet stream has been boringly typical. The reasons for the fires are complex but one of the main one was a wet rainy season 16-17 followed by a bit dry in 17-18. The easist fix is to allow clearing and burning before the crisis.
The idea that the jet stream is slowing and becoming wavier is complete garbage. First there is little support for it in winter when there could be an effect. Second, there is no physical possibility for it to happen in summer when there is no change (or even cooling) in the Arctic.

I see Mother Nature and possible arson in some cases.
Actually, I would suspect arson in all cases. A handwritten manual a few years back found near the Mexican border listed wildfires as a great way to strike at the American "devil". Costs lives, and a lot of money. Look what they are doing with Israel right now, with the balloons and even birds trying to start fires .

I agree. But it will never be told.
It all adds up. Look at Obama, for instance. He couldn’t destroy America in one fell swoop so he went with the next best thing: He did all he could to bleed America to death by a thousand cuts. A cut here, a cut there, and by the time he left America was running out of blood.

This is actually a statistically true statement
George Carlin nailed it again.

Blocking highs are familiar over the eastern half of the country as well. To pretend that they are driven by global warming is unethical fraud coming from an alleged scientist.

Never been hot and dry before! If those Egyptians had not driven SUV’s all over the place the Nile valley would not have turned to desert.
