Yep, I kinda liked that comment, too.

Probably because the commies were sending out their hit-men and agents to do the shootings so they could blame veterans, Christians, gun lovers, etc. for the shootings and they could attempt another gun control measure. We have more gun control laws in this country than we have stray dogs. Yet, the shootings are ALWAYS in liberal cities and areas. Funny, haven’t had any local Southern Baptists run down to the local schools and shoot up any around here. Must be a liberal thing.

Back in ‘85 or so I was stationed at Falcon AFS (called something else now). We got a radio call that there was an armed robbery at the mess hall. On response we set up by the doorway and made entry. I was first in and the first thing I saw was someone running at me with something in his hand. In that split second I noticed it was keys and that the guy was scared out of his mind. In the next second we got a radio call announcing that it was an exercise. Our squadron commander had, apparently, forgotten to give that piece of information to the CSC.

The full bird Colonel I had told to “get the **** back in your office and lock the door!” apparently had a long heart to heart with said squadron commander after things settled down.

First- I want to Thank You and All FR Active, Reserve and Retired Personel for Serving Our Country. Also Spouses and Families.

Maybe You could give the PD in Denver area a few pointers on Actual Target selection and response.

It’s become painfully obvious that they need instruction.

Stay Safe !

I agree with you, having been an infantryman and an MP I've gotten to see a lot of on-base stupidity. However, I do believe that officers at O-3 rank and NCO's at E-6 rank or higher should be allowed to carry firearms. Yes, they're not perfect beings either, but I would feel safer on a Saturday night around a staff-sergeant with a pistol than a young private with a pistol.

Yes, it looks like age discrimination, I know. You need to live in a barracks or enlisted family quarters to understand.

I was born at that hospital and later on in life came back. We lived on base in the Brick Quarters very close to that hospital. This was in the late 1980s to early 1990s.

The real shooter generally comes a few days after the drill from what I have observed lately.

“It must be one of the aliens trying to escape from Project Blue Book!”

I worked there for many years. I was watching the x-files show one night and saw one of my projects mentioned by the three geeks. I couldn’t help thinking “who’s your daddy” while looking at Scully, lol.

If you don’t trust them with firearms why are they trusted to be in the military?
