I can’t say I am terribly upset about Germans meeting their end, after what they did to 6 million Jews during WWII. You make a good point. I think we do a better job of integrating our influx than do the Europeans. Not nearly as well as we used to, but enough better that we're not in nearly the existential crisis that some of the Euros are.

The German population was reduced to what it had been at the turn of the century, and with women outnumbering men by 4-5 million. We have just had three of the four highest decades of legal immigration in our history. By 2023 immigrants will comprise the highest percentage of foreign born in our history. The Democrats are on the cusp of becoming the permanent majority party thanks to a mass immigration fueled demographic transformation of this country. The Dems have won the popular vote in 6 out of the last 7 Presidential elections.
