Rod Rosenstein: The Man With The Most Thankless Job In America

You can't hand over the evidence that makes up your case to the people you are investigating.

You may have noticed over the past year there is a formal dance underway between the Department of Justice and the Congressional oversight committees over release of documents related to the 2016 election and the multiple investigations it spawned.

Congress requests documents, and the DOJ then spends months dragging it’s feet before responding. The department then often refuses to hand over what’s requested, or only does so in a highly redacted form.

As this process has dragged on, a popular narrative has arisen in which Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Rod Rosenstein, second in command at the DOJ, are both part of a plot to remove President Donald Trump from office.

I was willing to take a wait and see attitude towards Rosenstein until the farcical indictments of the Russians as Trump was headed to Europe. Now I consider him pure scum.

They’re investigating Congress? That’s a new one.

Plus they never thought it necessary to keep the key piece of evidence in this entire debacle, the server that was supposedly hacked.

The “job” is a coup d’etat - The overthrow of a government.

The dems and other socialist scum of the world thought they would be in control when She won but it was not to be.
Now they are trying to destroy the person and voters who ruined their plans.

Interesting article IN THEORY but what about IN PRACTICE? Rosenstein could order the requested documents be classified so that only a few key members of Congress could see them, mainly the chairmen of the committees, not the Minority party leader, etc.

This process has been done before. I’ve been told of one case where a communist congressman (just croaked the other day), was bypassed when certain kinds of secret defense information was given to the full committee (i.e. the Chairman - I’ve testified before him and he didn’t fuck around).

The reason Dellums was bypassed, besides him being a hardcore communist, was the he and his staff gave some of his House Subcommittee classified documents to the Marxist coup government of Maurice Bishop in Grenada.

US troops captured the whole communist archives there (my friends did the total review of them and helped produce the publicly available summary report (about 300 pages long if I recall accurately).

In these documents they found that Dellums’ staffers, Carliotta Scott (who was screwing Bishop) and hardcore red and current US Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Ca), were his couriers to Bishop.

Also, the wife of the resident Cuban DGI leader in Grenada was American citizen Gail Reed, one of the most hardcore communists in the Venceremos Brigade, a creation of SDS and the Cuban secret police, the DGI, a trained arm of the KGB.

A lot of this is in the House Internal Security Committee’s staff study on the Venceremos Brigade.

Also remember that the top hardcore communist in Congress, the just recently forced out Rep. John Conyers Jr (D-Mich), was the head of the House Judiciary Committee. When he was a ranking member, he and Democrat traitor Rep. John Rodino (D-NJ), lied to Rep. Ashbrook, Zion and McDonald (D-Ga) about keeping the HISC functions as a subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee.

Comrade Conyers even tried to destroy the HCUA/HISC records and when this failed, he got an illegally imposed records retention schedule of from 50-75 years instead of the normal 25. Only a lawsuit by a journalist/researcher in about 1992 forced the government to open the general files to the public.

There is a question as to whether certain files were destroyed by Conyers, Rev. Rep. Drinan (D-Mass) and/or Rep. Michael Harrington (D-Mass - a psycho like Drinan)earlier in the game when Drinan was on the HISC.

I worked on the Hill and was part of the discussions on what was going on with the HISC files and the Rodino-Conyers conspiracy to destroy them or lock them away forever.

I would never trust any Democrat Minority committee representative in Congress today. Some are out right traitors. Others are insane like Adam Schiff. And some are just fools like Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va) - he is constantly rising to new heights of stupidity.

There is a real backstory as to how documents are produced to Congress but in the case of congressional subpoenas for them from the DOJ and FBI, under Rosenstein’s control, there is no reason why Nunes and Grassley, Gowty, etc. couldn’t see them “in camera”.

This article speculates on the issue but lacks some knowledge of how things work up on the Hill.

The gist...an interesting take:

So he’s being asked to hand over evidence that’s being used to investigate several members of Congress to those selfsame members of Congress. See what a no-win scenario that is? No prosecutor could possibly hand over material evidence to the very people being targeted by the federal investigations he’s overseeing. That’s not how these things work. You don’t just hand over the evidence that makes up your case to the people you’re investigating.

Until they are ready to move, Sessions and Rosenstein have to keep most of this evidence in these documents under wraps. They won’t hand over the really vital stuff implicating people at the top until the leakers in Congress and elsewhere are in no position to use that evidence to try to save themselves or their political masters.

“They won’t hand over the really vital stuff implicating people at the top until the leakers in Congress and elsewhere are in no position to use that evidence to try to save themselves or their political masters.”

That scenario is not consistent with the redacted/withheld materials that have been reluctantly revealed to Congress so far. They’ve all simply been information embarrassing to Rosenstein’s buddies or to himself.

He has been thanked for 20+ years for doing the bidding of the Deep State.

Instead of rotting in jail, he gets money, status, and power. Poor guy.

BULLSHIT. You sure as hell can hand it over if the evidence has been proven to be false, generated out of whole cloth for political purposes. That’s why we have a Congress.

I am getting sick of this useless dildo who thinks he is an attorney. What a blivet! Rosenstein is an Alinsky liberal fascist of the first water. He belongs in jail along with the rest of the liberal fascist crime syndicate, racketeers who have subverted the DOJ, FBI and the CIA.
