It’s not just McConnell, ALL career politicians are in pockets of their mega donors. There are very few exceptions which I can count on my left hand fingers.
The epic fight you are witnessing is Donor class versus Voter class. The career politicians will never admit they are against the hard working middle class, but their actions give them away. They give nice sounding speeches and then act on orders from the donor class.
Yep; this is the problem with our system. It allows for the worst politicians money can buy. And they slavery is dead. It just looks different.
