Call to Action: On Wednesday POTUS Donald Trump did something that seemingly came out of nowhere: He took to Twitter to publicly call for his attorney general, Jeff Sessions, to end the witch hunt investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.
In a series of tweets, Trump lambasted his AG nothing new there while outlining his case for ending the probe.
So why did the president chose today to make these allegations and to publicly call on Jeff Sessions to shut down the Mueller probe when POTUS himself can do it?

Trump on Rushs show called many in DC evil.
How are evil people stopped? By words and videos in social media? By editorials? By face-to-face confrontations? By prayer? By physical force? How?
Only Q-Anon knows the answers to these mysterious matters!
True! I think the Donald is setting the expectation that he will eventually need to fire Sessions. I do not expect that to happen until AFTER the midterms though.
Trump is Sessions boss, if he wants Session to fire Muller just call Sessions in and talk to him face to face and tell him what he wants. Session can then resign if he don’t want to do as his boss says. That tweeting about one of your employees is stupid.
But at the same time, he's still getting his message across.
If Gates doesnt testify for the prosecution, Judge Ellis may just end the trial after the prosecution finishes presenting its case. I suspect the other immunized proposed witnesses arent going to testify, either. If so, the judge is going to be pissed and dismiss the entire case. Manafort could very well get his legal expenses covered by the government and get the attorneys disbarred.
