A Swedish student was hailed as a hero and captured worldwide social media attention after she stopped the deportation of an Afghan migrant by refusing to sit down on a plane.
But despite a week of mainstream media not even asking why the man was being deported, it has finally emerged that the Afghan Muslim migrant had been convicted of a "violent assault" on a Swedish citizen, among other crimes, and had been rejected for asylum in the nation.
The young woman live streamed the whole incident and it was viewed nearly 5 million times on Facebook alone. In the video, shes heard saying there is a man who is going to get deported to Afghanistan, where he will most likely get killed and the she wont sit down until this person is off the plane.
Elin Ersson, a student at Gothenburg University, was subjected to fawning media coverage over her stunt earlier this month when she refused to take her seat on the plane until the 52-year-old Afghan deportee was released. She was successful and authorities werent able to deport the man. However, Swedish Police confirmed to Fox News that the man whose deportation Ersson prevented had received a prison sentence in Sweden for "at least" one assault of a "severe nature". The police spokesman declined to go into more details about the crime the migrant has committed. His asylum application was also rejected.

As they say details are important it’s all about the details, not that it matters to this woman.
Better yet why didn’t they send her with him and she could have lived happily ever after in Afghanistan?

That we know of.
There's a word for that behavior, and it seems to apply internationally. In the U.S we called them 'snowflakes.'
The word is Solypsism : a theory holding that the self can know nothing but its own modifications and that the self is the only existent thing; also : extreme egocentrism.
That word doesn't apply often, but it's strange to see that in a woman who should not be in the throes of adolescence, but well into maturity. It mostly seems to exist in the very young or the very old, for reasons that we can all speculate about, depending in our life experience.
It should be informative to know what her parents are like, and what their devils are...
A bit extreme, but yeah...
An emotional 6-year old in a twenty-something woman.
“An emotional 6-year old in a twenty-something woman.”
This pretty much sums up the status of the world today, in that probably one-third of the adults existing (doesn’t matter what country we refer to)....have ‘man-kids’ walking around and pretending to be adults. They can even attend college for four years and still be ‘man-kids’.
It sounds to me like she is a paid activist putting on an astroturf exhibition. There is no way that she just happened to be on that plane and just happened to know that another passenger wae being deported back to Afghanistan.
Despite the article headline, I do not think that the truth is finally out about this incident. And why was she not removed from the plane?
I don’t think the Swedes have ever had a case like this where the passenger is intimidating the pilot and the passengers. There’s probably no written policy on how to handle the situation. In the future, I would imagine that some Swede cop will go on and just remove her.
She should be jailed for impeding the Swedish authorities from carrying out their duties in deporting this violent criminal who had been REJECTED from asylum.
Why didnt they boot her off the plane and continue on?
And ban her from all future flights.
He assaulted a Swedish citizen. I think “most likely get killed” is a feature, not a bug.
btt
Disneyland syndrome
I’m sure they have laws about interfering with a flight crew.
Even in Europe, “education via the elites and their media” makes for so much ignorance and stupid little sheeple doing things they have been fooled to believe are “right”, when they are really so wrong.
That pic looks a lot like a young Hillary.
