She was out there when I went to check and to let Miss Ginger out. So I fed her and fended off the ravenous wildcats. LOL! I am getting quite chummy with the tabby. :) He/she [can’t tell yet] likes to play with my toes.

Awesome that you’re getting some rain. Hope it keeps it up all night! At least the soy beans will be happy. :)

Hubby steams some mixed veggies and adds a bit of butter and they aren’t awful. Fresh would be better, but when he buys them, they die a horrible death in the crisper because he forgets he has them. Blech!

Glad to hear she showed up this evening. She must be taking a break from the young ‘uns during the day and who can blame her? LOL

You’re going to end up wanting to keep that little tabby before it’s over with. :-)

I dumped the rain gauge a few minutes ago and we’ve gotten just shy of .1 of an inch tonight. As usual, the good rain is missing us, being one county over. *sigh* Oh well, rain’s in the forecast every day this week so the beans will get a good drink .... we hope. It’s about time for them to flower.

I don’t load up on a lot of fresh veggies at once. I’ll get what we want for a meal and whip them up that night or the next. No waste that way. It’s gross cleaning out the crisper when something’s been in there long enough to turn into a science project. ergh!
