Billionaire plutocrat and GOP mega-donor Charles Koch says President Donald Trumps tariffs on aluminum, steel, and thousands of Chinese-made imports are ridiculous and unfair to foreigners. Koch, who funds a network of organizations with his brother, David Koch, told the media during a conference with donors over the weekend that Trumps ten percent tariff on imported aluminum and 25 percent tariff on imported steel was not fair to foreign countries and foreign workers.
The Trump administration has said the tariffs on imported goods are necessary to protect American jobs and industries from foreign competition where foreign-made products are sold much cheaper than U.S.-made products, driving U.S. companies out of business.
This is ridiculous, we should just get rid of all barriers except on things that will hurt people, Koch told the media, according to ABC News.
Yeah, its unfair. Its unfair to their people, Koch claimed of the foreign countries and foreign workers who have been hit with Trumps tariffs.

Exactly right
Oh those poor foreigners.....
yup
So I guess now we can start hammering the Democrats for being in the pocket of the Kochs?
Of course, that would only apply to a party who had balls...
F the Kock Brothers.
Kochs’ = Undocumented Globalist Rats!
This is the age of the great unmasking—I am loving it!
The Asian plan for development used successfully by Japan, South Korean, and now China and probably a few smaller nations: lure US plants and jobs with lower cost labor, gain maximum possible access to the US market and allow minimum possible access to your home market.
And back and in '50s and 60s, Japan and South Korea were cheap labor.
Koch is confusing President Trump of the USA with President Obama of the One World Government.
Not very fair to citizens either.

Re: Unfairness to foreigners
Dear Mr. Koch
I regret to have to inform you that life in general is unfair.
Good things happen to bad people (such as yourself), and bad things happen to good people.
This is the way the world works, unfortunately for some people and fortunately for others.
“Unfair to foreigners” is a matter of perception, to most working class Americans unfairness is their jobs and livelihoods going overseas to the lowest bidder at slave wages.
Even if the jobs stay in America, most American families cannot compete in the workplace with ILLEGAL ALIENS or even legal recent immigrants that are willing to work for 5 dollars an hour and live 24 families to a household..
In your case (being a BILLIONAIRE), you probably have a different perception of this fairness, considering the fact that the LESS dollars you pay your people (whether foreign or American), the MORE dollars you get to add to your already considerable personal stash.
So in closing, I would just like to say;
F#CK YOU
and
F#CK THE FOREIGNERS.
Sincerely: 5th MEB
But the 'normal' people and workers would love it. Neither party represents the majority.
Levin is a globalist who feigns patriotism.
Gosh, that'll leave a mark, just in the straight ticket box for Republican Party, on the ballot. Thanks Helicondelta.
Koch Industries are vested in mostly foreign nations. They own much of the Canadian Tar pits. Now known as Pennzoil, they need to keep the prices of oil above $125 per barrel to even begin to make a profit. Of course, they are anti-Trump. These fine Libertarians are now supporting the Democrats because a few billion just isn’t enough money for them.
There was a listing of a Koch on Epstein’s Pedo plane. No doubt it is David Koch and he stepped down from Koch Industries on June 5th. Causes me to wonder if David is wearing a “boot.”
How are tarrifs unfair to foreigners when those foreigners impose hefty tarrifs while running a trade deficit, in their favor, with us?
That explains it, but really, one so wedded to the constitution is a globalist? Dang, thats a hot mess
I remember him doing both and I tuned out for a long stretch cuz the rants were unbearable to listen to.
He had made some very positive remarks about many things that President Trump has accomplished and Im just struggling to follow his rational regarding the trade issues. I cant follow his line of reasoning.
People like Levin(Libertarians) choose to ignore perhaps the biggest reason for the Revolutionary war: the fight against Euro mercantilism. It doesn’t fit into their current sick perverted view of trade and so the just don’t deal with it.
