I was going to post something similar, but on second thought decided to go with the Red state Dem votes.
Paul's hesitancy with voicing support for Kavanaugh was based on reasonable suspicion around his views on privacy rights, an area in which most 'conservatives' are sorely lacking.
Paul's subsequent signal of approval indicates (to me at least) that he obtained satisfactory answers from Kavanaugh in that regard.
You might disagree, but I find Sen. Paul taking his 'advice and consent' role seriously, as opposed to a party line rubber stamp, to be refreshing.
If only some more Democrats would follow suit.
