Jim Jordan would be heavenly. I’ll be somewhat surprised if he can oust Kevin McCarthy. As for McCarthy, he goes with the flow and had his head up Ryan’s butt, but seems to have realized immigration is what got DjT elected so who knows about him. I don’t know how beholden he is with the CofC lobby and the Koch’s.

It must be terribly difficult to see all the evidence before you, but rather than acknowledge it, be so consumed by hatred of Trump to ignore it, and even make light of it, or simply discount it.

Imagine if their heads cleared up for just a moment and they simply beheld all before them in its simple truth and logic.

Trump would be hailed as great.

That is what their hatred blinds them from.

During a radio interview with WHAS on Friday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border will likely not make it into the next funding legislation, which must be passed by the end of September in order to avoid another government shutdown.

Whatever...shut the sumbich down!

When directly asked if the funding of the border wall would have to wait until after midterm elections, the Republican senator replied “probably,” noting that it is “something [Democrats and Republicans] do have a disagreement on.”

We could build a hell of a wall if we shuttered the FBI, the EPA, the Dept of Education and about a hundred other useless/redundant departments and agencies.

And then....MORE TAX CUTS!!!

Yes, Sarcasm with a capital S. I am very tired of listening to horrible stories about horrible fires that only happen every year in the same general area. It’s not impossible to fix; it just takes some intelligent oversight by adults. If the forests in California have to wait for a Donald Trump to take over and implement realistic forest management, it could be a long wait.

Quote from Peggy Noonan at 55 minutes into the hour-long Meet the Press:

"What we haven't mentioned yet today is the 4.1 GDP..."

Damn, F.Chuck...you surely overlooked that !

It’s a hell of a fight, I’ll give you that.

But in the long run, I think President Trump wins.

I felt the same way in 2016 as I do today.

There’s something Divine about the way things are happening. I really believe that people’s prayers are being heard.

IF I were an atheist, which I’m not, I could say that by trying NEW things and ways, like North Korea and trade, NOT being pro-amnesty but against it, standing up as an unabashed American nationalist, brings forth new outcomes.

But things are not the same in this man.

California is a dry place in the summer, PRIVATE ownership, clear-cutting, and other fire prevention methods are NOT allowed by State AND Federal law

Maybe OSHA should require fire-suppression sprinkler systems over the Californa forests.

I am assuming that this line is Sarcasm.

You can take that to the bank.

This should cause Zinke to begin the process of opening up the forests. We know NoCal would go for it (except for San Fran.) big time. It might further their push for 3 California's.

And did you hear Zinke is thinking of dismantling the Hetch Hetchy damn in Yosemite, which is the main water supply for San Francisco. Too good. This will make enviro's heads explode.

His last shot was to again repeat the meme today that POTUS lies all the time.

Joy Behar on The View says Trump lies nine times a day. Not seven mind you, nor ten or any other number, but always NINE.

The joke's on her, though.

ALL politicians lie. There is nothing new here.

Trump supporters know this, and DO NOT CARE when this charge is levied at President Trump.

We don't CARE, Joy. What ever you are for or against, we don't care.

Who remembers the late 60’s movie; Chinatown w/ Jack Nicholson. It always gets back to life-giving water.

...on the Madison River ...

Where, Yellowstone?

Must be VERY nice.

Is it crowded?

Is the caldera getting warm and shaky?

File a report, please!

Guess I was politically incorrect as I said “the black guy”. He is Mo Elleithee. I have seen him before and Obama appears to be his hero.

Regarding Mitch and Elaine, Peter Schweizer does an excellent job of exposing them and their empire in Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends.

Schweizer also wrote Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich also available for free on YouTube.

This really ticks me off. Schweizer has done an outstanding job of documenting these thieves and criminals and yet the DOJ just stands around. Worthless!!

Question for you Bray, up there in the land of lotsa water. I'll assume coastal Oregon and Washington and the Cascades lose lots of water ...much to the ocean. Couldn't they make a killing feeding water to California / Nevada ?

What's the general overview on water up there ?

Imagine you never saw the ocean, and never heard about it. And then one day, you find yourself on the rocky shore of Maine, or the coast of Northern California.

Each time a wave pounds and crests against the shore, you gasp in horror! All this water, you think, is going to flood the land and kill us!

But with each wave, no matter the sound and fury, does no further damage, nor goes beyond the shore it is hitting, you become less and less frantic.

After a time, the waves of the ocean become a background noise. You are no longer afraid, nor concerned.

Oh sure, a storm might come, or an exceptionally high tide, yet it is the same waves, sometimes larger and louder, other times calmer, crashing in for time after time.

The media and Russia, Stormy Daniels, and now Cohen are like those waves.

Nobody really worries about them anymore.
