Donald Trump Jr causes social media meltdown by posting his 9-year-old son Donnie holding a gun

Donald Trump Jr is in hot water on social media after posting a picture of his eldest son holding a gun on Thursday.

The 40-year-old is under fire after posting a throwback picture of nine-year-old Donald Trump III holding a double-barreled shotgun while on a duck hunting trip.

'Donnie helping me out in the #duck blind last season,' he said in the post caption, tagging the photo in Texas.

Definitely the best #hunting buddy out there. Get them outdoors early and often... you won't regret it!!!'

The image has garnered split reactions, with many wondering if it is safe for such a young child to be holding the gun.

'Guns are a dangerous toy for a child,' said one person in the comments.

Another added: 'You truly are disgusting....'

'Please tell me this is for food and not just a sport; and that it’s being done as painlessly as possible,' a different parent stated.

These are the kind of people who would go to a gun range and scream, “ Oh my God, he’s got a gun!!”.

had a good belly laugh from this one. Yes, Maam, they sedate the ducks before shooting them.

If they are not eating them, please send them my way.

I bought my first gun, a .22, on LayAway with my paper money.
No parental authorization necessary. Of course, this was in SE Arkansas decades ago.

My dad was taking me hunting when I was about 8. Of course he had me out shooting before that. I got all the basics on the range including a strong safety course. No auto loaders till I was in my teens. Hunting at 8 was with a 22 hornet, model 43 winchester, for ground hogs. Later I graduated to an ithica side by side 20 gauge, which I still have as it was his fathers, for rabbits, pheasants and the like. The model 43 was sold by him long ago. Great days, wonderful experiences, and a time of my life I would love to repeat but cannot go back 60 years unfortunately.

“Is he wearing lipstick?”

He just looks cold to me. A lot like my picture when I was three, with Dad, a gun, and a deer hanging from a branch.

The adult Trump kids all have that prominant pink lips thing going for them when they were young. It makes sense the next generation would be similar.

On the bright side for Don, Jr., he can comfort himself with the fact that his children will be able to have food when the bridges have been blown up and no trucks can deliver it to stores. Children of lesser fathers will starve.

They think taking a 9 year old boy duck hunting is disgusting, but think dressing an 8 year old boy like this is just wonderful and should be encouraged and celebrated.

Kids in general have a lot of color to their lips. It’s something that fades as we get old.

Under those circumstances, I suspect the immediate family of the President won't need to go hunting to feed themselves.

:-)

OMG, I forgot about mumbly peg and all the viscous butchers the knives produced.

It has even gotten hard to find a reasonably priced pocket knife.
