Jewish American comedian Roseanne Barr has apologized for her recent “ill-worded” Twitter post about Valerie Jarrett, a former adviser to President Barack Obama, and insisted she isn’t a bigot.
Barr made the comments in an hour-long interview on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show on Thursday, two months after ABC cancelled her sitcom due to that specific tweet and several others deemed to be racist.
“It cost me everything,” Barr said in the interview, as quoted by The Associated Press. “I wish I worded it better.”
Hannity repeatedly urged Barr to apologize to Jarrett on air. The comedian eventually did, saying that she was sorry for the poorly worded tweet. She added she would tell Jarrett, “I’m sorry that you feel harm and hurt, I never meant that. I never meant to hurt anybody.”
She repeated her assertion that she did not know Jarrett was black when she likened Jarrett to a cross between the Muslim Brotherhood and a “Planet of the Apes” actor.

I agree that Jarrett deserves criticism for her positions, but if all you've got is insulting her looks then that's pretty pathetic.

I admit that it does sound mean and petty, but “they” have been playing using Alinsky rules and it’s time we used their tactics to fight back. Being Mister Nice Guy doesn’t work most of the time.

Just watched her hour long interview on Sean Hannity. Despite all her nuttiness, she remains an intelligent and creative person. Sean’s an idiot but we all knew that.
Watched the whole interview last night. She seems to be getting over the groveling-and-begging-forgiveness stage, and was pointing out the MSM’s open dishonesty and viciousness. She might just make it, although it’ll take a while for her to live down some of the really dumb things she said on the air about this whole matter. I’m hoping she puts these f@#$s on the defensive before she gets much older.
Sean was less egregious than he has been. Seems that, while I have my doubts about his IQ, too, he was in contact with her when she was hiding in her mom’s basement, saying encouraging, supportive things and such. He has heart. I’ll give him that.
We can do Alinsky, too. And Trump could take Alinsky back to school.
