Fox News President Declares ‘Strong Solidarity with CNN’ After WH Bars Kaitlan Collins from Event

Fox News President Jay Wallace has put out a statement expressing support for CNN after the White House barred reporter Kaitlan Collins from the Trump Rose Garden event this afternoon.

Collins was informed by the White House she was being blocked because they didn’t like her shouted questions to President Donald Trump at the pool spray earlier.

The rest of the media came to Collins’ defense, notably including Fox News. After Bret Baier said Fox stands with CNN, Wallace issued this statement:

When Brett Baer is on I opt for Charles Payne followed by Lou Dobbs on FBC. Although it seems like they’re making Charles add more liberals to his show lately.

“Gag! I don’t turn on FNC to watch Liberal human waste.”

The only show I routinely watch now is Lou Dobbs. Can’t stand that giddy tw*t that comes on after him. She’s an embarrassment. Hannity so loves the sound of his own voice that he talks over almost everyone. Ditto for Ingaham, plus she excoriates the President for inconsequential $hit.

I expect starting tonight Bret Baier will experience a sudden drop in viewers. Pandering to a false account from CNN is pathetic. Regardless if he was told to read it or not it added to a Fake News story. The shrill reporter kept yelling questions when told to leave..nothing to do with Freedom of the Press.....

Cavuto has been unwatchable for years.

Hannity has opened his show for years with a repetitive, extended 15-minute monologue with the same video clips over and over.

Ingraham’s insights are often clumsy and her advice mystifying. I have no idea why she attempts to be funny because she’s one of the unfunniest people on the network.

Tucker’s show is a vehicle to get the nuttiest liberal shills to go out there and look ridiculous.

I hope you’re right.

I wish I could contribute to a lowering of his viewership, starting tonight. But, I already don’t watch.

Baier made his bones while with Fox and on the Pentagon beat. He was the sweet little guy who made no waves. So he got a promotion and a news program. Now his roundtable rarely sports a truly conservative voice. His attempts at gravitas are humorous, as is his authorship of thin books.
He belies the claim that Fox is a conservative outlet.

I’ve practically given up on Lou. He simply will not allow his guests to talk without interruption, and his rants are now predictable.

Hannity’s monologue is the same with a few changes every night. At least 15 minutes of his show is, IMO, totally worthless. He interrupts everyone so why have guests?

Carlson and Ingraham have a parade of RAT douches that I refuse to look at or listen to. RAT douche bags with their Cheshire cat grins should have a barf or gag alert before allowing them on.

good idea. All the press briefings, and questions at photo ops have turned into is urinalists using them to make themselves the story. I had never heard of this person before, and I’m sure most hadn’t heard of her, now we have, so she succeeded in what she set out to do.

“......I’m getting tired of him interrupting his guests midsentence.”

Same here. I’ve quit his show many times simply because he talks over guests responding with information I want to hear, and can’t because of his interruptions. Dobbs isn’t the only one that does that, but he seems to be up there with Hannity.

No kidding. I think the Dems have dirt on the people who run Fox News. Do they think it’s OK for this woman to shout at the president? What nonsense.

I stand corrected, Maria, Lou, Stewart, Tucker, Payne, and Hannity when he has new info are still the good guys.

Shep Smith was oh so sanctimonious about this kerfuffle. He went on to say how important a free press is. He railed against those who think the media is an enemy of the people. The media brings the truth and are mentioned in the constitution. We need to listen to them. And the White House is wrong to shut CNN out..

No mention of how ill mannered and hateful the media has been to the Administration. No mention of the bias show daily to POTUS and his supporters. No mention of the responsibilities of a free press. Just believe them; they know best.

Stuart Varney is one of the good guys too.

Varney went to the dark side this morning in the last half-hour of his show. He said he supports CNN and joins with other Faux News members in that support. I wonder if he felt he would receive censure or worse by Fox management if he didn't join in the support. Right after his statement he had Brent Bozell of "Newsbusters" (Media Research Center) on who disagreed with Varney.

I just happened to turn on Fox News about an hour ago and heard Shep Smith give an impassioned defense, first of CNN and then all the mainstream media outlets. He named and defended them all, network news, cable, newspapers, etc. saying they are defended the First Amendment and provide important information to the citizens of the country. He acknowledged that he has received strong disagreement from Fox viewers but continued to state his position.

I was driving when I heard that (Sirius/XM radio) and was so pissed I had to catch myself and focus on the road. Of course I knew Shep was going to support them, but it was still upsetting.
