Yes. And since those who kill black people are overwhelmingly black, not unlike how those who kill whites are mostly white, having a code against snitching is a great way to end up with no justice bring done for the dead. Arguably a great way to end up with more murders.
Exactly. When we have “don’t snitch” being marketed as threatening slogan in ghetto neighborhoods, and when most of the neighborhood is in one way or another involved with the gangs and won’t cooperate with the police...then we have criminals getting away scot free and even un identified.
Also, when we have people like DeBlasio and various other big-city mayors grandstanding by defending the thugs and attacking law enforcement, what do these neighborhoods think will happen?

Trying to keep up on the sheer number of homicides in Chicago would be nearly impossible. Do people understand the man hours involved in solving homicide cases? It’s overwhelming.
