Appearing on CNN Tuesday with Chris Cuomo, Michael Cohen lawyer Lanny Davis argued that the tape he gave to CNN, which had just been played to the viewers by Cuomo, proved “the truth is on our side.” Davis is well known for his extremely close ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton.
The tape includes a discussion between then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and his then-lawyer Michael Cohen on several issues, including the request of the New York Times to unseal Trump’s divorce records involving Trump’s first wife, Ivana, and other matters. The tape also includes a discussion of the issue of the allegations of Karen McDougal, a former Playboy model, that she had an affair with Trump years ago.

Conversations between an attorney and client are private and privileged. Cohen is violating every legal code of ethics by taping these conversations without his clients knowledge and by making them public.

Was Cohen always a Clinton plant and slime ball setting up Trump? Was Cohen backstabbing Trump during the entire Stormy Davis incident?
"Trump's Watergate" is probably wishful thinking by Davis, Cuomo and CNN.
But remember, John Dean was Nixon's personal attorney during their meetings and Nixon thought the conversations fell under attorney client privilege. Dean knifed Nixon in the back. The media and the Democrats then piled on and the Nixon presidency was doomed.

A sure way to attract attention of authorities is to use cash in excess of $10k. Trump would now this.
Also, it seemed to me that they were setting up a company to purchase the rights. This would leave a bigger paper trail footprint than big foot.
Watergate was Nixon tapping his opponent’s campaign phones. So, Trump wire tapped Clinton’s campaign? Hmmm.... no, that was Obama wire tapping Trump’s campaign on Clinton’s behalf.

My guess is that Cohen had other shady dealings, not related to DJT, for which he could go to jail. I’m confident that President Trump will remain clean no matter what they say and how they spin it.

The Watergate tape scandal wasn’t just about what was on them but rather it was also all Nixon’s attempt to hide them and the court battles undertaken to have them released to the special prosecutor. Trump never had control nor has he attempted to hide them. The attempted comparisons here don’t wash!
When I buy Real Estate, I pay cash, no I don’t walk in on closing day with a briefcase full of $100 bills like you see in the movies. I have a certified bank note from my bank.
Cash does not mean what the media is trying to make it out to be. Cash in Real Estate, means you are buying with out a loan or mortgage. Nobody expects you to show up with a briefcase full of $100 bills.
